Tummnus Neighbourhood Children's Library
The library is just an old house in the middle of the street. From the outside it looks like any of the other Tudor and Victorian-style homes in the neighbourhood; a little more brushed up than some, but nothing too out-of-place.|
...except the front door, that is. ...and the odd gargoyle here and there. ...and the etchings in the railings and the window-frames - vines, and animals, and quotes in latin, french, olde english, hindi, elvish, japanese, dinotopian, sanscrit, russian, egyptian, and braile; as if the house itself were a book... ...and the eerie window beneathe the steep point of the roof - gold stained glass in the shape of an eye - that glows sometimes at night with a flickering, yellow light.
Apart from that, there really isn't much to say about the face of the Tummnus Neighbourhood Children's Library.
